DARK MATTER
During a residency at Timespan in Helmsdale between January and March 2015, I developed a body of work that embraced the darkness of the Northern winter. Find out more.
NORTHERN LIGHT
Video with sound, 2015.
A short film about light, water, and electromagnetic activity in the upper atmosphere, made while on a residency at Timespan, Helmsdale, winter 2015.
SODIUM HALOGEN MERCURY
A short film of a city river at night. Soundtrack by Giuseppe Iacono. 2008.
NIGHT NAVIGATION
Video loop installation with sound, 2004.
Originally created for an exhibition in the Travelling Gallery, this work then went on to travel to Australia for my solo exhibition “The Subtle Ether” at CAST Gallery, Hobart in 2007. There it was installed as a large-scale projection covering a whole 16 metre wall, like a night sky of constellations of tiny midges.
