Green Wave

This is one of a series of medium-sized drawings I worked on after I had completed the large scale mural for the Balfour Hospital in Kirkwall that some Orkney islanders may be familiar with. It has some of the same drama, colour palette, and sense of pattern. As with the mural, it’s inspired by the endlessly dynamic movement of the seas around Orkney.
