Surface Tension

Deep ultramarine and gem-like turquoise shine through several layers of rhythmic line drawing in sky blue, green and white and a flashing web of bright silver ink lines thrown over everything like a net. Did you know that water has the highest surface tension of any liquid apart from mercury? It’s one of the reasons raindrops form a sphere. Where water meets the air there’s a tension, almost like a membrane stretched across the surface. There’s a bit of that in this drawing too, I think.
